lots of animals fell into the cave over the years, so it has lots of bones of many different types of animals inside. they move some bones to museums, and some bones they leave inside the cave. it's a protected area, so you can't go there without an official guide. (you're also not allowed to bring backpacks into the cave.)
della and tyson met in chicago. not long after, they left to wwoof their way through new zealand and visit australia before settling down in christchurch. then they took off for china. but now they live in berkeley.

Good to see your blog. Great pictures. Is is common to find those bones and what do they do with them when they find them?
