last weekend we went to the hills and took these photos. the stuff that looks like a city--that's christchurch. the stuff that looks like distant mountains--those are the southern alps. the stuff that looks like water--that's governors bay, and beyond that is the south pacific ocean. the stuff that looks like a tree--that's a tree.

ah, the karate kid. you obscure bastard, it's no wonder i missed the reference. there is only one mid-eighties movie script that isn't rotting away in the cobwebs of my brain: the peremptory TOP GUN. perhaps if you had thrown an iceman quote i would have caught it.
so, is the shake n' bake one of your new moves? for example, if you went to best buy and they told you your printer couldn't be fixed, would you bust out a defiant shake n' bake before going to comp usa? i certainly hope so.
